His arms were wrapped around her
as he held on to her tight
they floated across the hardwood floor
while they danced on into the night
Each time she looked into his eyes
her love for him was clear
  it was obvious to everyone watching
how much she needed him near
The smile that was on her face
showed the depth of the love they shared
the tenderness you see in his touch
showed just how much he cared
She seemed to just be floating
she barely even touched the ground
they danced across the floor that night
as he gently led her around
Most people would say they were dancing
but in fact, they would be wrong
for what they were really doing
was making love with a song
