Now that you're here I will attempt to answer the questions many of you have about
myself.
"Where am I from?"
I live in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky, near a small rural
town of Pikeville. I have lived here all my life, okay you ask how long is that....well,
let's say it's over the legal age of 21..*Smile*
"What do I look like?"
Oh boy, do I get that one often, so I have decided to put my
picture here. Just don't
hold me responsible if your browser crashes upon viewing...*LOL*
"What are my hobbies?"
That one is easy. ..CHATTING..*LOL* However, when I find the
time and
can leave the computer long enough (not often enough to hear my family talk..hehe)
I enjoy swimming, camping, taking long walks (of course those are always best with
a companion...<grin>), reading....of which my favorite is the classic novel..
"Gone With the Wind". I love cooking and trying any new recipe that I find.
One of my most relaxing hobbies
is doing counted cross-stitch. Oh yea....back to the computer we go for one of my most
recent hobbies (you knew it would be the computer..hehehe) but I love working on my web
page. Something I'd like to do as a career *sigh*. Mostly if I'm not chatting I'm working
in several programs coming up with new ideas and images for a new web page.
"What kind of music do I enjoy?"
Only one kind of music...COUNTRY!!
#1 Neal McCoy......WOW!!!!!...Is he great or what..but the list is
endless...I love them all. Ohhhhhhhh yea....I can't leave George Strait off my list of
WOW!!!
"How did I become interested in the internet?"
I became interested in the internet to do genealogy research
while
doing my family tree. One day I decided to surf for the chat scene and see what
everyone was talking about on the TV with this online friendships and romances. I
stumbled upon what I remember to be the Chathouse and began talking to someone
well let's not mention his nick...but we had a very nice chat. We began meeting there
and became very good friends and remained so briefly. :( However I have to say
this page would not be here had he not taught me some html and how to do the images.
3 years later and thanks to a very good friend...Dave (who has taught me so much
and helped me with newer and better programs that do the html for me....He's
been a lifesaver for me on many occasions with making my pages...)
Well, making a long story short, I became hooked...*LOL* Now the genealogy
research is on hold while I chat and meet friends all over the world. Many great friends
I must say too!!!
Anymore questions....you'll have to ask me...Thanks and enjoy
the rest of my little place on the web..:)
