How to
You Are Going to Heaven
If you are reading this
page, this shows
that you are probably concerned about your eternal destiny.
Consider these questions:
Have you ever told a lie, taken something that didn't belong to you or
looked at someone with lust in your heart? If so, then you have broken
the Law of God.
"Thou shalt not bear false witness"
"Thou shalt not steal"
"Thou shalt not commit adultery"
"Whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after hath committed adultery
with her already in his heart." Matthew 5:28
"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point,
he is guilty of all." James 2:10
Do you understand the implications of what you have just read? Once you
have broken even one of the Ten Commandments, you become guilty of all
of them. Never killed anyone? Never bowed before a graven image? You
are still guilty! Because of this, your destiny is grim.
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers,
and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall
have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death." Revelation 21:8
When you stand before God on your judgment day, what will your answer
be to these charges? Don't even think about using the "good outweighs
the bad" defence. This would be like a murderer arguing that he has
only killed one person and there are millions of people that he has not
killed. Once you have broken the Law you are subject to the penalty.
You can never do enough good works to erase your sin. The penalty
must be paid. The good news is that the penalty has been paid.
"But God commendeth his love
toward us, in
that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our
iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his
stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have
turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the
iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53:5- 6
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached
unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which
also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you,
unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all
that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according
to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the
third day according to the scriptures:" 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
"And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first
begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto
him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, "
Revelation 1:5
Your response is very simple:
"And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand:
repent ye, and believe the gospel." Mark 1:15
"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be
saved, and thy house." Acts 16:31
