Prayers and Pledges

Dear Parents,

Each school day we recite the Lord’s Prayer, The Pledge of Allegiance, and the Earth Pledge. Please help your child with all three of these. Below you will find the words. We appreciate your assistance!

Our Father

Our Father, Who art in heaven,

Hallowed be Thy name;

Thy kingdom come:Thy will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

And forgive us our trespasses;

as we forgive those who trespass against us,

And lead us not into temptation

But deliver us from evil. Amen.

The Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge allegiance to the flag

of the United States of America,

and to the republic for which it

stands, one nation under God,

indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

The Earth Pledge

I pledge allegiance to the earth and all its sacred parts-

Its water, land and human things and all its human hearts.

I pledge allegiance to all life and promise I shall care

To love and cherish its gifts with people everywhere.
