The Zeringue Family Reunion 2003 held August 2, 2003 did not have as large a turnout as the 2002 edition due to various unfortunate circumstances. The saddest of these was Mary Walker loosing her baby only a month from the due date. Our prayers are with Mary and Morris and their family.
Thirty-six family members arrived for the reunion. The weather was fair, with brief showers followed by steamy sunshine. Those in attendance had a good time. As with the previous year, some serious volleyball games were played, there was plenty of food to eat, and everyone did some catching up.
The majority of those in attendance want to have another reunion in 2004, with the month of August as the preferred month. I'd like to get more feed back on this as not everyone in attendance let their wishes be known. Allison and Arlene were "volunteered" to be in charge of preparations for next year.
