The object on
the left is a 5 volt power supply (with an open frame case style). The
white tube next to the power supply is a PVC container which holds the
control electronics. The key is the object on the right. The laser is
the brass coloured item between the key and the PVC control electronics
container. The laser consists of an ordinary laser pointer. An
electrical cable clamp is used to hold the button down. The rear of the
laser pointer has had a hole drilled in it to allow a wire to be
connected to the front battery holder. The other contact is made via an
alligator clip to the laser pointer case.
