The CCD camera that I use is the HX516 from Starlight Express. It uses the Sony ICX084
interline CCD chip which has 7.4uM x 7.4uM pixels arranged in a 659 x 494 field. All
electronics are housed within the camera body with the only connection being a single
cable for data and power. The Starlight Express CCD cameras are designed to be used
directly in a 2" eyepiece holder (or a 1.25" eyepiece holder with the supplied adapter).
