Warm up.
- Warm up In twos
- Pass and move all over the field
- Ball ten yards apart
- One touch passing
- Stretch
1
Groups of four
- Pass and move in a different
direction
- Move backwards; Sprint for five
yards after pass, One two and pass Short-short long
- In fours 20 x 20 square with cone
in the middle. Attack center cones and go right. All four players go at
the same time
- Then go left. Attack center
cone turn and return to original position.
- Have two players attack middle cone
go to opposite cone.
2.
One Two and Pass - In fours – 2 behind one cone the other 2
- 15 yards away.
- A. C plays to d while b plays
to a. A and c return pass to approaching player. D and
b lay the ball off and a and c play a long ball and follow it.
- B. Two players in the middle.
Receive from one end pass back to server and then turn and receive
pass from opposite server
- C. Servers alternate passing –
volleying – heading
- D. C and b attack each other.
Both plant left and go right. They pass to the standing player
who repeats move.
- E. Then plant right and go left
3.
- 3 v 3 with outside help - 30 x 40 –
- 3 blues v 3 reds with 3 reds and
three blues on the outside.
- Keep away with outside players
allowed one touch.
- Make it directional with two
players either side of goal and a floating third player.
4.
- Shooting in threes.
- Have the groups of three line
up 25 yards from goal.
- One player is wide about the width
of penalty area.
- Two central players play a one two
and then play wide. The winger has two touches to play a driven cross.
Switch sides.
- Winger has one touch - Bring in
active defender
5.
- 1 v 1 to goal –
- Set up 1 v 1 games to goal –
- Both players in push up position 20
yards out
- Sit up position/not facing
ball/forward roll
6.
- 4 v 4 – one team rests – rotate
each goal

warm down.
