King James Translation: “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God”

Interlinear Translation: “But we not the spirit of the world received, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things by God granted to us:”

Strong’s Concordance Translation: “NOW = but, and, also, but, moreover. WE = us, ourselves, our company. HAVE = to hold, possession, ability, contiguity, relation, condition. RECEIVED = to take, to get hold of, accept, attain, catch, obtain, take up. NOT THE SPIRIT = a current of air, blast, breeze, breath, by implication vital principle, mental disposition, life. OF THE WORLD = orderly arrangement, i.e. decoration, including the inhabitants and its adorning. BUT THE SPIRIT WHICH = the definitive article. IS OF GOD = consisteth, are, belong, have, remain. THAT WE MIGHT KNOW THE THINGS  = to see, be aware, behold, have knowledge, perceive, be sure, understand. THAT ARE FREELY GIVEN = to grant as a favor, i.e. gratuitously, in kindness, pardon or rescue, deliver, frankly forgive. TO US OF GOD = our, we, ourselves, our company.
