King James Translation: “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts, and then shall every man have praise of God.”
Interlinear Translation: “So that not before the time anything judge, until may have come the Lord, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of hearts; and then praise shall be to each from God.”
Strong’s Concordance Translation: “THEREFORE = so to, i.e. thus in various relations of consecution as follows: so, so that then, insomuch, wherefore. JUDGE = to distinguish, i.e. mentally or judicially, by implication to try, condemn, punish, avenge, conclude, condemn, damn, decree, determine, esteem, go to sue as the law, ordain, call in question, sentence to, think. NOTHING = whether at all. BEFORE = in front of, prior, figuratively superior, above, or ever. THE TIME = an occasion, i.e. act or proper time, opportunity, convenient season, due season, a while. UNTIL THE LORD COME = accompany, appear, bring, enter, resort. WHO BOTH = a primary particle having a copulative and sometimes also cumulative force. WILL BRING TO LIGHT = to shed rays, i.e. to shine or to brighten up, enlighten, illuminate, bring to light, give light, make to see. THE HIDDEN = concealed, i.e. private, inwardly secret. THINGS OF DARKNESS = shadiness, i.e. obscurity, shade, shadow, figuratively darkness of error or an adumbration. AND WILL MAKE MANIFEST = to render apparent, manifestly declare, shew self. THE COUNSELS = volition, i. e. advice, or by implication purpose, will. OF THE HEARTS = the thoughts or feelings (mind), also by analogy the middle, broken hearted. AND THEN SHALL EVERY MAN = each. SHALL HAVE PRAISE OF GOD = time direction story, laudation, commendable thing.
