“King James Translation: “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”
Interlinear Translation: “Now I exhort you brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that the same thing ye say all, and no among you divisions; but ye be knit together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”
Strong’s Concordance Translation: “NOW I BESEECH YOU = to call near, i.e. invite, invoke by imploration, hortation, or consolation, call for, comfort, desire, exhortation, intreat, pray. BRETHERN = the womb, near, remote, or much like, union. BY THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST = authority, character, called by. THAT YE ALL = any, every, the whole, all manner of, all means, always, any one, as many as, whosoever. SPEAK = lay forth, relate in words usually of systematic or set discourse, ask, bid, boast, call, describe, give out, name, put forth, saying, say on, shew, tell, utter. THE SAME THING = a baffling wind backward, self of the third person of the other persons, the other, yourselves, together. AND THAT THERE BE NO DIVISIONS = no gaps, no split, no rent, schism, no sever, no break, no divide, no open, no rend, not make a rent. AMONG YOU = fixed position in place, time, state or instrumentality medially or constructively, i.e. a relation of rest. BUT THAT YE BE PERFECTLY JOINED TOGETHER = to complete thoroughly, i.e. repair or adjust, fit, frame, mend, make perfectly, join together, prepare, restore, fresh down. IN THE SAME MIND = the same intellect in thought, feeling, or will, by implication meaning, understanding. AND IN THE SAME JUDGMENT = same cognition, i.e. same opinion, resolve, counsel, consent, advice, agreement, mind, purpose, will.
