Arriving by ferry at Digby, Nova Scotia - We have a Times and a Gazette MV Paper! It was an overnight stay on the other side before we could get on the Ferry to go to NS. We did explore a little before the morning and had a lovely old fashioned hotel to stay in, but were glad to be able to get on the ferry and rest a little before reaching our preaching engagement with Ivan Davis and family.
A beautiful lass at the Fort in Halifax, NS re-enactment of the life in the fort.
A handsome bagpiper in the re-enactment at the Halifax Fort.
A tour of 'the farm' in Nova Scotia by some church members and the Pastor
Owners of the farm and supporters of the church where we held our meetings.
Pastor Ivan Davis with Jim in Nova Scotia We stayed in their home and preached at the church several
nights.
We were also in Shelbourne, NS and preached several nights. We met some marvelous people there and the Pastor and his wife have a vision of building a sanctuary for people to come to on some land they have located. Shelbourne is near Yarmouth and it is a beautiful place to see. We also met a beautiful girl we fell in love with, Norma, and we shall never forget how she put the prayer cloth over our heads and washed our feet and humbly prayed for Jim and me. It was an awesome experience. She is a true prayer warrior. I did not get pictures of the area or the people due to the weather, fog, I have never seen such fog. Also we were very busy. We had 3 churches come together for our meetings and Norma played the piano and Mrs. Stewart sang and preached as well as Pastor Bob Stewart. It was a wonderful time. Jim preached as well and we prayed for as many people as possible after the services. They had not seen these kinds of services before. God truly touched people in a mighty way. |
