    This is the top-ten list of crime log entries for this summer. Entries were judged for humor and originality. Incidents involving arrests or injuries were disqualified, since getting arrested or injured is seldom very funny.

    *10. Complainant reported to the UTPD at 11:55 p.m. that someone vandalized his cabbage garden at 3500 Sutherland Ave.

    *9. A security guard reported to the UTPD at 4:05 a.m. that he was being chased by three dogs at the Aquatics Center, 2106 Andy Holt Ave.

    *8. Complainant reported to the KPD at 7:48 a.m. that the animal leash used to keep the door closed on her Jeep was cut and her speakers and cassettes were stolen from 1631 Laurel Ave.

    *7. Complainant reported to the UTPD at 1:32 a.m. that a cow was wandering loose at Cherokee Trail, Northbound on Alcoa Highway.

    *6. Complainant reported to the UTPD at 9:28 a.m. that she was receiving harassing and threatening phone calls from her mother-in-law at the Golf Rang Apartments.

    *5. Complainant reported to the KPD at 1:38 a.m. that wiring was stolen from the rear engine of his 1975 Volkswagen van.

    *4. Complainant reported to the KPD at 11:27 a.m. that a cable converter box, several steaks and a turkey filet were stolen from his residence at 1316 Forest Ave.

    *3. Complainant reported to the UTPD at 10:01 p.m. that five females in mini-skirts entered Neyland Stadium, 1201 South Stadium Drive.

    *2. Complainant reported to the UTPD at 9:09 p.m. that a female approached him and said, "Burn them all, hell and damnation," at First American Bank, 1831 Cumberland Ave.

    *1. Complainant reported to the UTPD at 10:04 a.m. that a male "wearing only gym shorts and a smile was engaged in self-abusive behavior" at Ferris Hall, 1508 Middle Drive.
