Messages of Public Television
By
Footey
mr. rogers -
obsessive compulsive
disorders (o.c.d.); the man obviously had some major issues with changing
his shoes and sweaters.
oscar the grouch -
(1) it is perfectly
acceptable to live in your own garbage ... a note taken to heart by young
rednecks, who learn at an early age that their front yard is a perfectly
acceptable place for cars and junk that no longer works.
(2) you have the right
to be a grouch if you want, especially if your living conditions are not
ideal.
elmo -
while i enjoy his
character ... i think he is too happy ... therefore, my suspicion is that
elmo is abusing his antidepressants.
cookie monster -
once seen as a lovable
blue creature with a never ending appetite for chocolate chip cookies,
4 out of 5 nutritionist now say cookie monster is the second leading cause
for the fattening of america. not only does cookie monster teach our children
to crave sweets and lots of them ... he reinforces bad table manners with
the way he eats. (please note ... planet footey nutritional poll based
on the unscientific research methods of a struggling cookieholic .. i.e.
footey ... btw, does anyone know if the children's television network owns
stock in any cookie companies.
ernie -
on the surface, he
seems like an acceptable character, until you notice the deep rooted fixation
on rubber duckies. thus, teaching our children to seek out inanimate objects
for pure security purposes. i.e. the mentality that if i have my nice house,
nice car, etc. then i'm fine and doing alright in this world ... even if
the true reality of your situation is different.
bert -
if you believe other
web sites out there ... bert is evil and will stop at nothing to control
your child's sinful nature.
are you being served
-
it's perfectly acceptable
to have blue or pink hair ... or whatever color that woman's hair is suppose
to be.
nova -
this show has one
message .... you can make a lot of money if you clone this show for 24
hours and make your own network .. called the discovery channel.
pbs fundraisers
-
the message ... loud
and clear ... we need money to bring you this programming .... the untold
truth ... if the children's television network would give us a good share
of merchandising profits then we wouldn't have to do this .... |
