is Evil
By Footeyi think the thing is, i don't really care for teenie bopper music .... for the most part i feel the emphasis is placed too far on the image and not on the music for most of the people in that category ....... i stop to wonder how much smaller the fan base would be for bsb and outtasynch if both groups wre filled with ugly fat guys ..... the thing is, they all look good, so the teen girls drool over them, so they dig out their little section of pie with that demographic group ... the same demographic group that controls mtv, and why does this demographic get mtv attention ... b/c anyone 13-25 or 26 is like one of the biggest, if not biggest hot bed of consumers ..... mtv sells out to whatever music will bring in the people their advertisers are looking for .... all the while, they have their other station, vh1, that they own, which is 3000 times better and appeals to the rest of america ... it's all money ...... if bsb was ugly and fat, they wouldn't be nearly as popular with the teenie bopper crowd, therefore, mtv wouldn't care about them or thier music ... as a result they don't get major airtime by mtv, with in turn means they would have less exposure and less playtime on radio also ... and as a result of all this ... they are musical nobodies ... that is my perspective on it all ... i guess it would also help if i actually liked the songs themselves, but i don't like them either ... they just don't appeal to me ..... this will end my dissertation on the mtv generation |
