Talking
off the top of my head
By Footey(taken from things i rattled off in an IM conversation) were do we go from here, the lonely traveler asks, the map has lost it's sense of direction and the wandering soldier beckons for it's call the bells they ring, hear them ding, ring-a-ling angel's wings, the tolling tole house cookie baker punches his time card and calls it a day's work, another day goes by in the life of the monkey the monkeys have the power, it's a dog eat dog world and the cats feel let out CHIPMUNKMC: my doggie got hit by the UPS! Footey30: trumpets blast in the distance, the cold forest hides their direction, the UPS and downs of the chase, tis a sad fate for the masses CHIPMUNKMC: i miss my doggie sadness, loneliness, the emotional razor cuts the soul deep into the empty abyss why are sundays not always sunny, the man asks as he confirms his presence for church where on earth did carmen go, did he go with waldo, to the land of camouflage .... they hide in the midst of the world as we search the ends .... wonder if columbus fell off, his rocker that is, the land of spices where art thou baby, posh, and the like, geri left in search of greener spice racks i talk off the top of my head, funny how i seemed to get my mouth up there, a feat of modern genetics, i presume, had the procedure been invented long before, maybe the apple would have hit newton there in his mouth, the gravity of the situation defies the mind abstract fragments melt the mind away, inside they search for freedom and solitude, finding the weak point they burst forth from nothingness into the gentle night, never to be whispered again i have found the point of no return, i must say good-bye and enter the dark night, to sleep tis wished most upon pour ham's head ..... the solitude of the pillow calls upon my gentle thoughts |
