CARG:
The Conyers Amateur
Radio Group is an ARRL affiliated amateur
(HAM) radio club based in Conyers, Georgia (Rockdale County), approximately 25 miles east of
Atlanta.

Meetings:
The Conyers Amateur
Radio Group meets at 7:30PM on
the third Thursday of each month. Check the CARG
meeting information section for meeting dates and locations. All
are welcome, licensed amateur or not. The Rockdale County Amateur Radio Emergency Service
group
meets the first Wednesday of each month. Check the
ARES meeting information section
for meeting dates and locations. Monitor the 147.210 repeater for any changes of
time or location for either meeting.
Repeater:
The Conyers Amateur
Radio Group repeater is located on Salem Road near I-20. The repeater
output frequency is 147.210 MHz with a +600
KHz input (147.810 MHz) and a CTCSS (PL) tone of 162.2 Hz. The
repeater IDs with the club call, KF4GHF/R.
Nets:
The Conyers Amateur
Radio Group sponsors club and ARES (Amateur Radio
Emergency Service) nets on Monday nights on or around 28.325 MHz USB (alternate
frequency of 28.328 MHz if 28.325 is busy) and on the CARG 147.210
MHz repeater.
All licensed radio amateurs are welcome to check in.

Activities:
There is an
informal "Lunch Bunch" get-together each Friday at approximately noon at
one of the local restaurants. Click here

The Conyers Amateur Radio Group also participates in the annual ARRL
Field Day, usually held the last full weekend in June.
