TREAD PATTERN DESCRIPTION |

A
special tread pattern for drive axles on long distance transport
which guarantees high traction, braking stability and increased
mileage, even on slippery surfaces. Also used on trailer axles
in on-off road applications in the super-single version. A block
pattern with medium depth tread grooves to ensure traction and
patterned shoulders to improve water dispersion.

APPLICATIONS |
|
|
Employed on drive axles on heavy transport, trucks, articulated
vehicles and tankers operating on long journeys on various types
of surface even when roads are wet or slippery. Used on trailer
axles for heavy transport for mixed road conditions in the
super-single version.

USE
CONDITIONS |
|
|
Recommended for long distance drive axle work on national and
international highways of medium severity giving increased
mileage and even tread wear conditions. On trailer axles, the
super-single is specified on abrasive road surfaces or for site
work.

RANGE OF SIZES AVAILABLE |
|
Tread pattern available in RINGTREAD rings for the retreading of
the main tyre sizes in the 22.5" bead range. Available also in
WINGTREAD profiled precure strip for the retreading of all tyres
requiring a tread width from 230 to 360 mm (therefore also for
super-singles).
