TREAD PATTERN DESCRIPTION
One of the most popular and versatile trailer patterns which guarantees good driver precision and safety in all operating conditions while ensuring optimum mileage and operating costs. The pattern is characterized by four circumferential grooves which control forward movement together with transverse siping to improve grip and reinforced shoulders to resist lateral scrubbing.

APPLICATIONS
This pattern is particularly suitable for trailer axles but is also an acceptable alternative on driven axles for applications where a very regular wear rate and medium traction are required. Ideal for trucks, medium horsepower transport, rigid and articulated vehicles as well as long distance buses.

USE CONDITIONS
Use on medium journeys on motorways, major highways or regional roads on vehicles which have a normal traction requirement but where it is important to maintain regular tread wear.

RANGE OF SIZES AVAILABLE
Tread pattern available in RINGTREAD rings for the main tire sizes in the 17.5", 19.5", 20", 22.5", 24" and 24.5" bead range. Available also in WINGTREAD profiled precured strip for the retreading of all tyres requiring a tread width from 130 to 255 mm.
CHARACTERISTICS ADVANTAGES
Circumferential zigzag grooves Excellent stability, smooth running characteristics and good water dispersion.
Deep transverse siping Adequate grip and traction even on slippery surfaces
Reinforced shoulders Good resistance and low tread wear on mixed or winding routes
Tread compound with rapid heat dissipation Reduced tread wear
Medium pattern depth Excellent operating costs
