almost as long as the Internet has existed.
The HTML Writers
Guild is a non-profit association of professional and
amateur Web authors.
The Free Software Foundation
creates and sponsors the creation of free, open-source software,
primarily for UNIX systems, but with secondary ports to DOS,
Windows, and so forth.
The Foundation for
Economic Education, a nonpolitical educational
organization. They publish books on economics and the
philosophy of freedom, and a magazine, The
Freeman.
The Republican Liberty
Caucus -- Our principles are libertarian; we want to
reduce government to a smidgen of its present size, as
does the Libertarian
Party, but believe we can be more effective in
accomplishing it from within a major party than by
forming a third party.
The Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation raises funds for medical research into
treatment and a possible cure for Cystic Fibrosis (which
I have).
