| Dr. Virginia Felder graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi from the Univeristy of Georgia with a B.A. in Psychology. She attended the Columbia Theological Seminary, where she received the degrees of Master of Divinity, Master of Theology in Pastoral Counseling, and Doctor of Ministry in Spirituality. She began practicing at the Atlanta Psychiatric Clinic in 1975. Her experience includes treatment in inpatient and outpatient settings with adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups. Dr. Felder is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, member of the American Association of Pastoral Care, member of the American Association of Forensic Counselors and an ordained Presbyterian minister. She has been chairperson for the Atlanta Chapter of the Georgia Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, President of the Biofeedback Society of Georgia and President of the Stone Mountain Ministerial Association. Dr. Felder is a widow, mother and adoptive stepmother who has published many articles on topics related to psychotherapy. |
