There are currently 200 active members in the First Coast Shag Club.

The membership year is from March 1st through the end of February.  There are no charter members.  All renewals must be received by March 15th with a renewal payment of $25.  After March 15th the dues for late renewals is $30.  The dues for all new members are $30.

Members are entitled to receive the club's newsletter (The Shag Rag), and attend quarterly membership meetings.  Members are also entitled to receive either free or reduced rates for various classes, workshops and parties. 

Often times throughout the year members will dance in exhibitions and participate with the Club float in parades.

FCSC contributes to The American Cancer Society at the end of the fiscal year.
