Luther Banks Jamison was born circa 1855 at Fairfield Co., SC; His year of his birth is a guess- based on the death of his mother - Georgianna Duke Jamison, who may have died from child birth complications. He was the son of Dr. Elias Harrison Jamison and Georgiana Duke. Luther Banks Jamison He & his brother Christopher Columbus are cut from his fathers will, due to lack of "affection due his father"- See will of Elias H. Jamison- Fairfield Co.,SC-
This child has never been found in any other record, and is beleived to have been farmed out to another family after the death of his mother, as well as the two next youngest children, which might account for the "lack of affection....." aspect on the two boys.
