I have not found proof of that name and I lean more to it being Jane, after Jane Stevenson. Twin of Eliza Caroline Sloan.

Anna Tyree was born on 27 December 1806 at Tennessee. She married James Sloan I, son of William Alexander Sloan and Jane Stevenson, on 9 May 1838. As of 9 May 1838,her married name was Mrs. Sloan. Anna Tyree died on 28 April 1889 at Dobyville, Clark Co., Arkansas, at age 82. She was buried at Sloan Cemetery, Clark Co., Arkansas. She En an email from Wanda Sloan Karnes received the following information: " Buried in Sloan Cemetery, with a tombstones that reads "Anna, wife of James Sloan". I have the original marriage license for James and Anna, signed by S.T. Sanders, J.P., dated May 11, 1838 and filed May 12, 1838, marriage on May 9, 1838. This original license was found in a box in the library in Hope, Hempstead County, Arkansas. A person called me one morning to tell me she had found it and I could have it for $l.50. I was delighted."

Charles Carroll (The Settler) was also known as "The Attorney General". He was born in 1660 at Litterlouna, Kings County, Ireland. He was the son of Daniel Carroll of Litterluna.1 Charles Carroll (The Settler) emigrated in 1687; Emigrated from Litterluna, King's Co., Ireland.2 He married Martha Underwood on 4 November 1689.3 Charles Carroll (The Settler) married Mary Darnall I, daughter of Col. Henry Darnall I and Eleanor Hatton, on 14 February 1693. Charles Carroll (The Settler) died on 1 July 1720 at Baltimore, MD.

Julia Missouri Sloan was born on 28 October 1853 at Dobyville, Clark Co., Arkansas. She was the daughter of William Stevenson Sloan and Lenora Josephine Browning. Julia Missouri Sloan died on 24 January 1924 at Caddo Gap, Montgomery Co., Arkansas, at age 70. She Email from Wanda Sloan Karnes gives the following information: Julia married a local boy, Austin Stevens Logan. Never found the mariage record but it was about 1827. I looked for her for many years. She and Austin were in Montgomery County in 1880, 1900, 1910 and 1920 census. Austin was a physician, he was registered in Montgomery County in May 1881.
