asked for help or advice for different aspects of finding one's
ancestors and
am unable to come up with any definitive answers. As there may be
someone out
there who has just the answer I will post his or her requests on this
page with

Rich Wethington
There are rumors that we are Native American Indian through the Wallace
family. My GM Pearl Taylor (married John "Jack" Willie Wethington) was
daughter of Mary Elizabeth Wallace Turner (who married William
Murchison Taylor) and she was daughter of Joseph Turner and Susan Cox
(Susan's parent was Leachy Cox). William Murchison Taylor was son of
John W Taylor and Missouri (Mazura) Wallace. Her parents were William L
Wallace and Elizabeth ??. We are told this is the Indian connection.
Also, we have a John David Taylor who is rumored to have been John
David Mannes from PA, and changed his last name in NC/SC migration. Do
you have obits or other info on these folks? Looking for any
sources or info that may help prove Indian heritage for this family?

Looking for mother
of Wilbur Monroe Rising, Sr. who is my grandfather. Margaret, Mary,
Ardie and Annie Rising were the sisters along with John Rising being
the only brother. Their parents were John and Rachel Rising and their
grandfather was Andrew Rising. They
lived in the
house of Hugh G. Price and his wife's name was Sarah. They didn't have
any children.
All lived in
the Dillon County and Latta, SC area.
