GMYS student members of good standing in the Symphony Orchestra are eligible to compete in the 2009 GMYS Instrumental Concerto Competition. Students may choose any piece from the standard concerto repertoire with the approval of the Music Director.

The Competition will take place in early spring (2009), and the winner will perform with the Symphony Orchestra in the May 2009 Season Finale Concert.
