Background

Gulfstream Roofing was founded by Robert J. McDonald (current president) in June of 1978. Since that time, 25 years ago, the company has expanded to the point where it presently has four divisions:

· Commercial

· New Residential

· Reroof

· Repair/Maintenance

Size and Strength

The company completes 1500 – 2000 roofing projects each year. In order to accomplish this level of performance, we utilize state of the art technology (i.e. Computers and other application equipment) to process our work from start to finish. These various technologies are a direct benefit to all of our customers, since they provide a lower overhead cost, which enables us to keep prices at very competitive levels.

The workforce of approximately 125 operates a modern fleet of 40 trucks. These men and trucks cover the areas of Palm Beach County, Broward County, and Martian County

Industry and Community Activities

Bob McDonald has been an active participant in roofing and construction associations both locally and in the state of Florida. He is presently a member and a past chairman of the Code Advisory Board of Palm Beach County.
