Me & my Ibanez RG2027XVV Prestige 7-String
This isn't a real web page because I just have a whole bunch of pictures and shit on my ftp.
I put these pages up just to navigate through the pics better, without having to opening dozen of individual files. So, here's comes the super-fandango links to said pages.

MUSIC
Here are a few mp3s of me playing.
First is me playing the solo section of Dream Theater's "Under A Glass Moon" along with a backing track: (Recorded with RG2027 through Behringer V-Amp2 modeling amplifier...)
Here's a country tune I turned into a metal power ballad. It's John Michael Montgomery's "I Love The Way You Love Me".
I did everything on the recording. The drums were sequenced note-for-note in standard notation in MOTU's Freestyle 2, then run out the sequencer into an Alesis DM5 and then the stereo out run back into the computer and recorded down. I used my Ibanez RG2027 through an ADA MP-2 preamp, recorded directly. THe acoustic guitars are the piezos from the RG2027 run directly into mixer (everything plugs into mixer, mixer goes straight into soundcard). Ibanez Soundgear 5-string bass and for vocals I used a CAD Equitek E-100 condensor mic. The first file is the song with just a single guitar during the solo. The second file (which I did just for shits and giggles) has harmony guitar parts during the solo. (Hey, the original song didn't even have a solo. What's up with that???). Digital Multitrack Recording and Mixdown was done in Samplitude v. 7. Final mastering was done in Sound Forge 6 and Wavelab 4.

This next sound clip is a little song I started while I was just trying to tweak my piezo sound going through a V-Amp2 patch that I wrote. I really wish I had this acoustic sound happening when I recorded that country-to-metal tune....
This is a little piece I wrote while dicking around with some Queensryche-like sounds on the V-Amp2. So, for now I just call it "My Queensryche Ripoff", which then leads into "My Dream Theater Ripoff".

This is a solo acoustic intro for.........something.....

BUT
These I took down so that I can post up two new recordings.
These are both solo instrumental pieces by Rik Emmett of TRIUMPH. This was recorded using my new Ibanez AJ307CE 7-string acoustic/electric (in case you missed the pics I just put up. This "Midsummer's Daydream".
Keith_MidsummersDaydream.MP3 (DOWN, to put up another file....crap, I need some space...)
This next piece is also done on the 7-string acoustic, but what I did was take the EQ/Volume settings and set then like so:
TREBLE = OFF
MIDS = FULL
BASS = FULL
MID FREQ = FULL
VOLUME = 1/4 up
This actually gives it a not-so-bad sounding nylon string classical, I mean, a steel-string getting this tone. I think it's cool. This is Rik's "Petite Etude" (For the record, this song is a BITCH to play on steel string. It's 100 times easier to play on nylon/classical (which is what it was written for):

Here's Rik's "Moonchild" (the middle of "Blinding Light Show")....another nylon string piece done on the steel string....(Read: ouch)

Here's the logo of my production company. This is anything that involves multimedia projects (audio/video production, books, etc)...
