An "Iron Rooster", as described in Paul Thereaux's book Riding the Iron Rooster, about the author's travels through China by train - before the more modern diesel engines were used. I had read this book shortly before the trip. I was excited to see one of the engines up close. This picture was taken at the train station as we arrived in Fushun.
