About our services:
- Facilitated Support Groups - The Grief Center serves children ages 5-17 who have experienced the death of a sibling or parent/primary caregiver. The groups are held in a child-focused environment and staffed by caring, trained professionals and volunteer facilitators who listen and respond. The children attend groups twice a month. They are free to choose activities in which they can talk about and play out their thoughts and feelings surrounding their losses. Adults accompanying the children may attend their own support group or enjoy the quiet time.

- Satellite Support Groups - These groups meet weekly at local schools. They are open to students at the school and are facilitated by a Grief Center staff member and a school counselor.
- Annual Survivors of Violence Program - The Grief Center Staff and Volunteers assist with this day of reflection and healing under the sponsorship of the Diocese of Lafayette - Office of Justice and Peace.
- Educational Seminars - These cover a variety of grief related topics and are held at various locations. For information on upcoming seminars contact the Grief Center here.
- TGC Tragedy Resource Team - This team of Professionals serves as a resource for communities dealing with the aftermath of horrific death.
