The Finished 2004 Yard Haunt

I was very pleased with how everything turned out. The only downer of the year was, well, lack of Trick-or-Treaters! Our house is kind of far back in our neighborhood and there aren't a lot of kids around there. But the ones that DID show up got a real treat and I hope they tell their friends about us for 2005.
Not pictured is the fog from the fog machine. I also had a custom CD of sounds and music playing. After all of her hard work on the tombstones I had my mother over to help give out candy and see people's reactions.
Heh heh. That must be ME under there... |
That's one scaredy-cat. |

I actually grew up in an honest-to-gosh haunted house in St. Augustine, Florida. We were sure that the ghost was of former homeowner Helen Firestone. When we sold the house the ghost must have stayed, so we made this stone to honor her. |

Argghh!!! Nothing scarier than my mother. I wonder how my wife managed to avoid be photographed all this time? |

Another shot of my tombstone- I did this one for myself. |
The gi-normous spider web and one of the victims. |
One of the standing ghouls off in the yard. |
Another ghoul. |
A long line of spiderweb went from the garage roof all the way down the driveway where an older victim had met his fate. |
The boys (or ghouls?) |
