The main purpose of this site is to showcase my attempt at making 12" versions of many of the characters established in the G. I. Real American Heroes 3 3/4" figures. Hasbro made several 12" versions of some of the characters, but I've "tweaked" them a little. While I fully understand that the characters, names, etc are all property of Hasbro, it's fun to put my "spin" on them!
AUGUST 14, 2008:
Added my custom Cobra troops to the site. It's still a work in progress. Some of the chracters need updating, but it's a start!
July 17, 2008:
Big update to my Joe Team. I've added my versions of Blizzard, Deep Six, Long Arm, Maverick, Quick Kick, Shockwave and Sparks. Plus a new creation, Borzoi, an Oktober Guard liaison. I've also got five new characters at the top of the list waiting for ID's and new pictures.

Slow to make updates these days, I've been busy. I did finish my Masters Degree, though! So it's been worth it. Plus I have a new position at school, I'm the Instructional Technology Specialist! Very cool job, working with teachers, computers, websites, etc. Fun stuff!
I've added two new characters to my Joe Team. One is Bombstrike and the other is, well, unknown at this time. I created this soldier and couldn't come up with a character. So I started a little contest on JoeDios.com. The contest will run through November 29th, then I'll decide on the character and give the creator full credit here on my sight, plus they get a small box full of misc Joe stuff.

One of my latest "fave" GI Joe websites is JoeDios.com. I discovered the site several months ago and have truly enjoyed it. It's mainly dedicated to the 3 3/4" troops, featuring some very impressive customs and dio stories. I noticed a few pictures of 12" customs, so I took the chance, signed onboard and uploaded a bunch of pictures of old dios of my 3 3/4" guys and my 12" customs of the RAH troops. It's a fun site, lot's of activity everyday, with new entries and new postings every few hours. |
