The 401^st TFW Reunion Association Welcomes you!!

Please note that the 401^st TFW Reunion Association welcomes as Members all ex-401^st people, their families, their friends and anyone stationed or acquainted with the 401^st since the 401^st Fighter Bomber Group (FBG) was established on 23 March 1953 and renamed 401^st Tactical Fighter Wing on 1 July 1957 to the present time. Also welcome are personnel that were assigned to the 612th, 613th, 614th or 615th Squadrons while the Squadrons were under other USAF Wings such as occurred during the Viet Nam War and since then. The above includes the 401st Organizational Maintenance Squadron (401st OMS) and all the Squadrons of the 366th FBG.

The above includes World War II Members of the 401^st Bombardment Group (BG) (Heavy Bombers), which was activated on 1 April 1943, and the most recent 401^st Fighter Wing (FW) and 31st Fighter Wing stationed at Torrejon Air Base in Torrejon, Spain. The last 401st Squadron was inactivated at Aviano Air Base, Aviano, Italy in 1994. Presently, the 401st is reactivated as the 401st Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW) at Aviano Air Base, Aviano, Italy.

In order to propagate the 401^st Reunions into the next fifty (50) years as an active and viable organization, it is hoped that younger Reunion Members will eventually want to take the reigns and the bull by the horns to continue conducting 401^st Reunions in a dedicated military and United States Air Force theme for the benefit of personnel formerly in the 401^st and applicable Squadrons still in existence.
