	Drifter was never a world champion, but he's one of our all-time favorites. Drifter won a lot of classes and sired a lot of good colts, including Luke the Drifter and Drifter's Firebrand. He is now owned by Nicole Kakassy.

We owned and showed Drifter from 1994 through 1996. In addition, we bred several mares to him. He is both an exceptional show horse and sire. He won several stake classes and was tied 4th in the SSHBEA World Grand Championship class in 1996. In 1997, Drifter was sold to Nicole Kakassy and placed in training with her stepfather (and very successful trainer) Bruce Hankins. Nicole and Drifter have been consistent performers since his acquisition. Drifter recently relocated with the Hankins' to their new location in Georgia. He has been retired from showing and is now working on a plantation as a hunting horse. Word has it that he's doing very well!!!
