BJ's Rambo was one of the most popular spotted saddle horses in the show ring in the late '80's and early 90's. He was owned by Jerry
and Beverly Corley of Bell Buckle, TN. We started training Rambo in January of
1993. At the SSHBEA Fall Show in 1993, Rambo was crowned Reserve World Grand
Champion with Jerry Corley exhibiting. He tied second behind Pusher's All Lit
Up. All Lit Up is the only horse to win a world grand championship at the SSHBEA
show, at the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration, and at the Racking
Horse Breeders of America World Championship show. Rambo had two claims to fame.
First was his long white tail. It always drew compliments from the crowd.
Secondly was his stamina. The longer a class would last, the better Rambo would
get. He did not know the meaning of the word "quit"! |
