Not all Klingons are military warriors.  Not all Klingons ascribe to the common belief that, long ago, Klingons killed their gods.  Many of us follow a different path. There was no word in tlhIngan Hol for what we are and what we believe, then we learned of humans that have existed since the beginning of humanoid life on their world who, while from different regions of the planet and different cultures, believed in the same universal truths we have found  to hold true.  On that insignificant world, earth, they are known as Shaman -- and now, so are we.

We do not all agree on our individual faith, but we do share a common thread in that we exist in the "Realm of the Shaman" (Saman qo').  Therefore, we are the ...

We are mystics, healers and, when needed, fierce warriors. We dance under our moons, we drum around the fires, we are seen when we want to be seen, and invisible when we don't care to be noticed.  The Ninja fears us for our knowledge and powers.  You have only two choices when you encounter us in space, negotiate to be our friend -- or cease to exist!

When the rest of the Klingon Navy fails, when the Klingon Marines fail, when all hope seems lost in the Empire, that's when we are called upon.  Then we arrive, save the Empire, and fade back into the background until we are needed again.  We look for no awards, no praise, we are rewarded on a higher level than you can perceive.  Know this, we are the ones who actually hear the voice of Kahless. Communications Department- Handles the communications needed to notify members of upcoming meetings and events. Puts together a ship's newsletter, produces written materials to be used at events and for recruitment, assists Commanding Officer with official correspondence between ships. (If the CO doesn't have email, it helps to have a Communications Officer who does).

Engineering Department- To handle construction, set up, break down and transport of items for displays and other ship building projects.

Quartermaster- Assist new members in their quest to become uniformed. Assemble and make available to the crew updated information on costuming and makeup techniques and sources.

Weapons- Aquire information on the weapons policies at particular events the crew will be attending. Advise and assist crew in compliance.

Helm/Navigation- Arrange or provide transportation to and from events and meetings for crew who have need of it, provide maps or directions to event destinations when needed.

Medical- Keep a medical record for each ship member which includes such information as allergies and emergency contact information. The Med Officer should be CPR Certified.

Tactical- Assist wherever needed, for instance in locating materials for ship projects, event set-up and take-down, etc.

Security- Help with security at conventions, provide security at ship's events, or for guests.
