Who we are:  KIK is an independent Star Trek* Fan group organized for the purpose of gathering together Klingons* from all over the planet (universe?) to wear the IMPERIAL or CLASSIC KLINGON makeup and costume with the SPECIFIC ALTERATION of wearing a kilt (kilt) (kilt) in place of pants.  Men and women of all adult ages are invited to join it.  We will plan to group together at Sci-Fi conventions, area events, parades, and whereever else we can find an opportunity to appear. If you think Klingons are popular at conventions and parades now... just wait until the fans get a look at Klingons in Kilts!(or KILT) (KILT) THERE IS NO CHARGE OR FEES ASSOCIATED WITH MEMBERSHIP! All that is required is to be a Klingon in a Kilt, a Klingon uniform (any), (optionally, but preferred is an imperial headpiece (see photo)), and an agreement to keep a good attitude and to have fun.  Anyone who gets rude to the fans or out of hand will be subject to dismissal from membership.  However, we don't see that happening as you have got to have a good sense of humor to dress this way. F.A.Q: "Where can I get a headpiece?"  Rubies makes a good one, search eBay, local costume shops, www.google.com, make your own out of a wig and liquid latex, email Scott & Cindy and ask them if they will make you one. "Where can I get a Klingon Uniform?"  Check with KAG, KAGAtlanta, IKEF, or KLAW and see if they can refer you to a costumer, make your own, find a local costumer to make you one. "Where can I get a kilt?"  This one is EASY... make one, check eBay, or, go to AMERIKILT.COM, or go to UTILIKILTS.COM  or, go to KAMOKILT.COM and order one like I did! The "Black Twill Original" is the PREFERRED Klingon Kilt for our purposes.  Here's the pic from the top of their respective web pages, click on them:
