P3P Statement for Edison Solutions' Web Site
Platform for Privacy Preferences (P3P) is an emerging industry standard that provides an automated way for a consumer's browser to read and interpret a Web site's privacy policy and compare it to the consumer's own set of privacy preferences. The goal of P3P is not to eliminate or reduce the exchange of personal data, but to increase user trust and confidence in the Web through an easy process that helps users be informed about Web site practices.

Importantly, P3P's implementation has been facilitated with the launch of Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6.0. With Internet Explorer powering around 90 percent of the browser market, it is important that Internet vendors and services providers be able to accommodate and fulfill P3P needs.

Edison Solutions has always been and continues to be committed to safeguarding privacy. We have converted our existing privacy policy to a machine-readable format so that a user's browser can read it automatically. This will ensure that all Edison Solutions' services are fully compliant with P3P. This change will not affect the way that Edison Solutions provides its services, and our tracking solution will be unaffected.

Information Collection and Use
Edison Solutions will not sell, share, or rent information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Edison Solutions collects different types of information from three different types of parties: its client marketers ("Clients"), its distribution partners ("Partners") and end-customers of its Clients when those customers are referred to the Clients by way of the Partners.

Partners must register on Edison Solutions' Web site . Clients are registered by Edison Solutions upon closing of a relationship agreement with the Client. End customers are never registered on the Edison Solutions Web site.

Registration
To participate in the Edison Solutions Web site network, a Partner must first complete the registration form. During registration, the Partner is required to give their contact information (such as name and e-mail address). This information is used to contact the Partner about relationships with Clients in which they have expressed interest. End customers do not register on any of Edison Solutions' Web sites.

Order
Edison Solutions does not collect personally identifiable information when an end customer places an order with one of our Clients. When an order takes place as a result of a referral from our Partners, we collect generic order data, such as total order amount, so that we can ensure that our Partners are compensated for their referrals.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Edison Solutions uses cookies to keep track of which customers have been referred to our Clients by our Partners. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information when making purchases through our network.

Log Files
Edison Solutions uses IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track end customers' movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Sharing
Edison Solutions will share aggregated demographic information with our Clients and Partners. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. Also, we will not share transaction data about any specific Client with any other Client, and we will not share transaction data about any specific Partner with any other Partner. We will share Client data with Partners, and vice versa, but only when the specific Client and the specific Partner were both parties to the transaction. In other words, a Client can see all of his/her transactions across all of his/her Partners, and a Partner can see all of his/her transactions across all of his/her Clients. No Client has access to any other Client's or Partner's data, and no Partner has access to any other Partner's or Client's data.

From time to time, Partners who register on the Edison Solutions Web site may be contacted by Edison Solutions regarding participation in other Clients' marketing programs. Partners may opt out of this contact. Similarly, Edison Solutions will share Client information with an appropriate set of Partners, as determined by Edison Solutions and the Client. Clients may opt out of this information sharing.

Online Partnerships
All parties (end customers, Clients and Partners) should be aware that Edison Solutions is essentially a manager of online relationships between other Web sites. Edison Solutions' privacy policy applies to Edison Solutions' own Web sites and servers, and not those of its Clients and Partners. Any party with concerns about privacy should investigate the privacy policies of the Client and Partner who are party to a given transaction. Edison Solutions has no control over these policies.

Security
Edison Solutions takes every precaution to protect our users' information. Sensitive information gathered via our servers is protected both online and off-line.

All transaction information and sensitive data are transmitted encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), an industry leading standard for transmitting data across networks. We use SSL to secure the transmission of sensitive data between our network and our Clients' and Partners' networks.

While Edison Solutions uses SSL encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All sensitive information received from Clients and Partners that is stored on our network is encrypted. Finally, the servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure hosting environment. ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure that our Clients' and Partners' information is protected.

Supplementation of Information
In order for Edison Solutions to enhance its ability to help its client marketers and distribution partners tailor their sites to an individual's preference, we may from time to time combine information about the purchasing habits of users with similar information from our Clients and Partners, to create a personalized user profile. When a user makes a purchase via the Edison Solutions network, the Client and Partner may collect and share that purchase information with us so that we can help them tailor their sites to the customer's preferences.

Correction/Updating Personal Information
If a Partner's personally identifiable information changes (such as the zip code), or if a Partner no longer desires to participate in the Edison Solutions network, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that Partner's personal data provided to us. This can usually be done via the Edison Solutions Web site.

Notification of Changes
If Edison Solutions decides to change its privacy policy, we will post those changes on our homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an e-mail. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
