(But first, let's get one thing straight, O.K?  I am not a true Geek, as you will clearly see by reading the code below.  I do not look geeky; I do not act very geeky in most environments; I do not lead a geeky life in most respects.  I happen to think Unix would be a very good name for a one-horned animal of the deer family indigenous to the African veldt.  What I have is an affinity for Geekdom, therefore I have had Geek friends and have geeked out in certain circumscribed ways which are/were completely voluntary, such as counting in binary, personalizing my computer's icons, spending real time in fictional worlds, finding and learning to read Geek Code, or forgetting to comb my hair.  To anyone who involuntarily engages in these or more extreme Geek behaviors, I say, "Get help!")
