FUNCTION: Air Commander

PROFILE: During a supply raid on the planet Pz-Zazz, the Insecticons found an interesting inmate in one of the world’s maximum-security lock-ups. They returned to Cybertron quite proud of themselves and fully expecting Shockwave to reward them handsomely. Shockwave was, in reality, not happy at all to discover that Starscream had somehow regained a corporeal form, nor was he pleased with the Insecticons for bringing him back to Cybertron. Starscream has now sleazed his way back into the Decepticon ranks and is dutifully playing the part of loyal soldier while he schemes to take over command of the Decepticons for himself as a first step toward universal domination…as always. Starscream does not seem to realize that the Decepticon leader isn’t Megatron (who kept Starscream around for his own perverse amusement), or even the old, calculating, dry Shockwave he knew before. He doesn’t realize that at the first sign of treachery, this Shockwave will not hesitate for a microsecond to blow Starscream’s massive head clean off of his shoulders. 

ABILITIES: Starscream possesses enhanced flight abilities and, thanks to his new fused beast mode, limited submersible capabilities. In robot mode Starscream now suffers from noticeably diminished agility and combat skills, mostly due to his oversized head…which finally seems in proportion to his enormous ego. His Null-ray cannon fires a disruptive beam, which can render its target immobile for several minutes until self-repair routines can kick in. Starscream’s jaws are capable of snapping just about anything he can get them around, however he has yet to resort to this combat attribute which he considers to be base and barbaric.  

WEAKNESSES: Starscream's scheming and deplorable personality makes him unpopular among the other Decepticons, and could prove to be a fatal flaw in Shockwave's new army.
