PROFILE: Soundwave has gained a little more enjoyment out of his life since acquiring his new vehicle form. Although he is the same untrustworthy, conniving, blackmailer he always was, he is taking a preverse joy in roaring across Cybertron in his communications truck mode striking fear in the sparks of surprised pedestrians. When parked, Soundwave's former cassette partners turned Targetmasters can often be seen jostling about in his cargo area like a carload of rowdy children. Now, devoted to the renewed Decepticon cause, Soundwave is a welcome addition to Shockwave's army.

ABILITIES: Soundwave can detect and manipulate transmissions of energy carried through the air or even, in some cases, through hardwired lines. Soundwave is also capable of low level telepathy through detection of electrical impulses in mechanoid brains. He can alost receive and send transmissions over an entire hemisphere of a planet without assistance. Soundwave has become adept in energy weapon skills recently and can weild almost any pistol or rifle with the ease of an expert. In addition to his Targetmaster partners, Soundwave carries a shoulder mounted sonic disruptor rifle that can shatter a wall of durasteel up to ten feet thick.

WEAKNESSES: Soundwave's arrogance is often offputting to his fellow Decepticons causing them to occasionally leave him on his own in dangerous battle situations.
