FUNCTION: Battlefield Medic

PROFILE: Dismayed and unnerved by the large numbers of Transformers returning from the dead, Predacon medic Shroud suffered a nervous breakdown at what he termed “The balance of the living and the dead becoming cataclysmically unbalanced”. Placed in a ward for unstable mechs, Shroud quickly escaped and set about trying to correct the mistake the universe had obviously made. Changing his alt-mode to a fearsome serpent, Shroud utelizes his beast mode snake head while in robot mode when closing for the kill, the better to terrify his victims.Stalking reborn Transformers and returning their sparks to the great beyond became his obsession, and soon he decided the best way to eliminate both the Autobots and Decepticons was to ally himself with the mercenary Cobracons, whom he would then, in turn, betray and slaughter. But until that day, Shroud serves as the Cobracons’ battlefield medic and upgrade specialist, none of them realizing the danger of the viper in their midst.

ABILITIES: Shroud is an accomplished medic and can make several different repairs of varying degree on the spot without the aid of a fully stocked med-center. In both modes Shroud is very fast and agile. He is surprisingly strong despite his slender body. His vibro-scythe can slice through a Transformer with a single swipe and his striking jaws can punch through tough armor with split-second speed.

WEAKNESSES: Shroud's fanaticism makes him unpopular with his teammates and more likely to end up in a dangerous situation on the field of battle without aid.
