First of all, before I go into anything about the artwork that I used, I just want to acknowledge Pixelhugger from the BYOAC for creating my awesome artwork!!!!  Just take a look and marvel at his abilities!

There's the marquee in all it's glory, printed from arcadegrafix.com (I believe he went out of business though recently) on a nice photo like material.  But here is the real kicker....

Booyah!  That's awesome.  It was printed on an adhesive vinyl so I didn't need any lexan to cover the cp in the end!  Here it is applied and installed and all that:

Pretty impressive if I do say so myself!  So now that you have seen the artwork used, let's open up the craziness that is my control panel!  Check out the jungle...

Confused?  Overwhelmed?  Don't be, it took me at least 2 weeks of asking questions and badgering everyone on the BYOAC message boards until I finally learned out to do all this stuff!  I had never even heard of 22 gauge wire before I started this, or had ever stripped/crimped wires in my life...maybe that will give you an idea of how much of a newbie I was at all this.  The panel is held down by industrial velcro, and doesn't move a bit.  The only thing that I need to do on this, is to add a piano hinge to the back of the control panel so that I can prop it up to do repairs if I have to.  As of right now, I just lift it up and hold it!  Yeah I know, kinda shady, but it works for now.  Anyway, back to the finishing touches; here is a closeup of the trackball...

It looks really good I think.  I bought some LED lazer canons from an online source to light my trackball and coin doors, but haven't put those in yet.

So, after all that work, and painting and everything...I finally have a finished product!  For those of you who want to know more in depth of how I did all this, feel free to email me, because I know I left out some things...I just don't have the pictures to describe in detail everything I did.  Anyway, here's the final pictures!!

So there you have it.  Now of course, there were lots of different programs and stuff that I used to play the games.  A few of them are Mame32 for the emulator, Mamewah for the frontend (lets me select games using the joystick), and various .ini/.dat files that enable me to save high scores, organize my thousands (yes thousands) of arcade games.  The emulator's and frontend that I used will all be available for download in the Downloads section, or if you can't find it there, a link will be provided in the Links section to visit the actual page.

I would like to say a special thanks to everyone on the BYOAC message boards for helping me through this whole thing.  Special mention: TalkingOctopus, CthulhuLA, Pixelhugger, Minwah, Saint (creator the BYOAC site!), and um...everybody else!  I'm sure I'm forgetting lots of people, and I'm sorry if I do, but don't feel left out :-)
