This small block plane is based on Sargents #507 the bedding angle has been dropped to about 12 degrees, its a very useful little plane, I use it almost daily, it works like a shoulder plane, a rabbet plane, and low angle block plane all in one, it made from ductile iron and bronze, other that honing it was ready to go right out of the box....
