Lyons's youngest daughter Martha Patsy Lyons born 1832 was married to Nathan Mulford Dorlan
from Hempsted N.Y. ,he came to Mobile County early 1840s he married Patsy in 1845
she was only 13 .

Yes, that is the widow of Samuel 1815-1892 son of Amos Paul Lyons and Fredrick is
her nephew and Fannie is her niece, Fanny Sprinkle was the daughter of Sarah Stone
1836-1907 and Henry Sprinkle 1823-1865 ,Sarah Stone was the daughter of Mary Lyons
and Ed Stone and Mary Lyons was the daughter of Amos Paul Lyons
Note: I found these Lyons in Mobile in 1870 on the census. I read the names off the
image so I asked David Sprinkle what branch are they from and this is my question
and his response.

On Monday 22 Jan 1816, I, Don Vincente Gener, pastor of the Immaculate
Conception Church of Mobile, being on a visit in Pascagoula at the home of Madame
Joseph Krebs, baptized and put the Holy Oils to a boy born on 4 Jan 1815, the
natural son of Francis Cunningham and Catherine Cumbest. Paternal grandparents
were John Cunningham and Regnen?; maternal grandparents were Simon Combest and
Marie. In the sacred ceremonies, the child was given the name of John.

Henry Hale and Harriet Louisa (Lyons) are my gggrandparents.
The 1880 Mobile census list their children as
John Hale age 10,
Mary Hale age 7,
Fannie Hale age 5,
Edward Hale age 3 and
Susannah Hale age 1.
It also list Lena Lyons age 22 as sisterL and Austin Lyons age 66 as fatherL. My great
grandmother Harriet Louisa Hale(Hattie) wasn't born until 1881. Hattie Hale married
Fate Dickson in Mobile on July 28, 1889. Fate is listed as Lafayette Dickson on my
grandfathers birth record( April 16, 1920) my grandfather is not yet named. He was the
7th child with 5 living. I don't know what the process was at that time for changing
your name, but Lafayette changed his name to Louis Franklin Dickson and my grandfathers name was Louis Franklin Dickson Jr. I don't know much about Lafayette (Fate) Dickson.
He is listed on the Mobile 1880 census in the household of J.N. Dixon as Laffeat
age 6 grandson. I do not know who his parents are. I hope you can make sense of this.
This has been a learning process for me. I have a little more info on the children
of Fate and Hatties(Hale) Dickson if you would like it. Hope this helps.
