Custom versions for other locales by request. Just execute Storm3D.Exe to Install! Alternately, the biggest change is a new statistics master file which can be upgraded simply by copying file HISTORY.MST [21] to your Storm (C:\STM usually) folder. [22] Replacement for HISTORY.ZIP in Storm3D above *IF* running FreeDOS under Linux+DOSEmu only! {500 kB} AFTER installing Storm3D.Exe, simply UnZip into Storm folder (C:\STM usually) then execute INSTHIST.BAT. You can delete the REPORTS.ZIP file. [23] Executable ONLY for Pensacola, FL {54 kB Self installing} Future NHC/NOAA Track History Updates can be obtained [here [24] ], Create file TRACKSyy.ATL directly in your Storm Directory then run TRACKS.EXE (see TRACKS.DOC). The Official FAQ: Hurricanes, Typhoons and Tropical Cyclones by Christopher W. Landsea at NOAA can be found [here [25] ], an outstanding Online reference, also included in Text format in my Storm package above. [26] [27] [28] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [29] DASD Vision : [30] DASD Vision x86/AT, or FREQ DVISION {114 kB Self Installing} DASD Vision {tm} x86 v3.G (Apr 2001) is a Disk & File Maintenance tool(s) package for MS-DOS (v5/6/7/8.x) environments. In addition, the Alt+SysRq key will display the current value of the RTC (Real-time Clock). See SYSREQ.ASM for a technical description plus additional functions of the TSR. Assembly source code included. For stand-alone DOS ONLY! NO Windows ... PD Freeware :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ M y O t h e r U t i l i t i e s Miscellaneous Utility programs with Source code: x86 Assembly [32] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Misc Supporting Software: FDIMAGE.ZIP is here [33] , a collection of Free and/or Public Domain Floppy diskette Imaging/Catalog system utilities for Boot and/or Data diskettes as well as Extraction from ANY supported HD/FD image file. Includes 2File, 2Floppy, CopyQM, FD144, FDImage, FDWrite, FloIma, LoadDskF, FDCopy, SaveDskF, RAWRead, RAWrite, RAWrite2, ResQFlpy, RWFloppy, ExtractI, ImageDisk, Img and documentation. (416 kB) MHIDE97.ZIP is here [34] , a collection of Free IDE utilities from Microhouse (1997) to Query, Swap, Save and Restore System areas (MBR, Partition Table, FAT, etc.) to Floppy/elsewhere (includes CMOS & Extended CMOS). (191 kB) Note: The main programs (IDE/info, Save & Restore) are full-screen interactive type programs that will display everything one needs to know for each step. All work great with Drives up to 80 GB (tested). A set of "Help" files (*.txt) are also included for reference. The best text editor ever written (IMHO) is PC-Write, so grab v2.55 here [35] ). To bridge the gap between a DOS Packet Driver like PPPD and an Int14/Fossil driven Terminal program (with Zmodem transfers) get TelnetPort [36] . If you are trying to extract files from any .ARC type archive (and having problems) grab XArc [37] . Note: If DOS displays an error message about "BRun??.Exe not found", you need to download one of these: BRUN10.ZIP [38] , BRUN20.ZIP [39] , BRUN30.ZIP [40] , BRUN40.ZIP [41] , or BRUN45.ZIP [42] . (Microsoft Compiler Basic Runtimes) UnZip, then move file BRUNnn.EXE to your DOS Path or application sub-dir where the error occurred. Note: All .ZIP and .MP3 downloads can be authenticated using MD5Sums.Txt [43] plus the Win/DOS program MD5Sum.Zip [44] (For program x-x, type "MD5SUM x-x.zip >x-x.md5", then compare MD5 string/Hash in x-x.md5 to md5sums.txt). Additional hard-to-find DOS utilities plus my favorite 16-bit Windows 3.x Internet packages can be found here [45] , ALL Freeware, of course. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [46] My Electronics Projects : 8-14 VDC, 1 Amp Power Supply [47] Schematics { 25 kB Self Installing } Appliance Leakage Tester [48] Schematic { 25 kB Self Installing }, based on a working Prototype ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [49] [50] My Favorite Links : The ART Of Assembly [51] Language Programming, by Randall Hyde, Your Name [52] (.GIF) in Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics, Test your Browser [53] 's Crypto strength, Family-Crests.Org [54] , [55] Help us find E.T. !
