The reason I'm building this ship from scratch is because after extensive searches for a rc model sailboat that was from this time period did not exist. There were plenty of kits to build static displays, but none of which to be used in the water. So I decided to build this one to play with. It took approximately 1 year to build it. The cannons are operational, repeatingly. I get about 30 shots. The sails all move. The flags go up and down. She actually sails great by the wind. Introducing.......... Lady Love

updated: 08/23/07 Winner and First place in 4 State Regattas !
Arrrrrr,  Lady Love has now participated now in 4 Regattas. Auburn, Indiana, Chattanooga ,TN . St Louis, Missouri, and Jacksonville, Florida.  I won at all four shows. Wow, Lady Love has covered the whole east side of the US.  I'm having lots of fun displaying, sailing and talking with people about the ship. I love to see people's reactions, when changing flags and then firing the cannons. See the pictures on the Regatta Pages. This is fun !

Plans and Templates are now available.
