59. John Tolbert⁵ Cave (John⁴, John³, William², Robert¹) was born in Roane Co, TN July 11, 1824. John died September 30, 1853 in Greene Co, MO, at 29 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Preston in Roane Co, TN, July 15, 1843. Elizabeth was born in TN about 1827. Elizabeth died after 1870 in Greene or Christian Co, MO.

John Tolbert Cave and Elizabeth Preston had the following family:

236 i. George Washington⁶ Cave was born in Greene Co, MO 1847. George died 1922 in Collin Co, TX, at 75 years of age. He married Frances Fulton. Frances was born in TN 1848. Frances died 1934 in Collin Co, TX, at 86 years of age.

237 ii. James Franklin Cave was born in Greene Co, MO about 1849.

238 iii. John Tolbert Cave Jr was born in Greene Co, MO about 1851.
