Music has been one of my interests since the time as a child when I took piano, to the time as an eighth grader when I learned to play the flute, to the time as a 37 year old that I took over the music program of White Bluff United Methodist Church, the largest Methodist church in the Savannah district of the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. (See my Church page.)At the time I took over the music program, my children were beginning pre-kindergarten and school, and I was no longer needed as a full-time mom. I also needed to regain my identity, which had been lost while I stayed home with the children. I was known as Larry's wife and Sharon and Scott's mom. Whoa!! An ego bash!!
After taking over the music program, I realized I needed more formal music training, so I returned to school to work on a music degree at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA. While attending part time and working at the church part time, I became more engrossed in music, as a member of the Armstrong Atlantic Chorus, the Savannah Community Chorus, the Community Band, and as a composer and arranger of several pieces for the flute, for the church choir, and for handbells.

While I no longer participate in any music program formally, I still love to sing and to listen to music. This page is designed to give you links to several areas of music. Try out a few of them!
For other sites use a search engine such as Google and put in the word "music" along with other descriptive musical words you want to find.
