Scott, our son, a manufacturer's rep with La-Z-Boy, has the southern Florida territory, which is wonderful for us since we spend two months each winter at Port Charlotte, about 75 miles south of Tampa. He is a marketing graduate of Kennesaw State University (in Kennesaw), also a unit of the University System of Georgia. He loves sports of all kinds. He is getting married again on September 26, 2009, on the beach at Sanibel Island, Florida, to Carrie Crandon. We will gain another granddaughter, Brenlee, age 3.
Brooke, Scott's daughter, will be 18 in November of 2009. She is a 12th grader at North Cobb High School and will be completing her high school courses in December. In January she plans to begin college, probably at Kennesaw State University. She currently plays on the North Cobb Varsity girls fast pitch softball team. In this North Cobb softball picture she's the one on the left. She lives across the golf course from us, so we can see her often. She is an honor student and loves working on her computer, chatting online with her friends, and communicating via Facebook. She uses her first name, Lauren, with her school friends. |
| Our daughter Sharon, also a graduate of Kennesaw State University, majored in Early Childhood Education. She is now teaching third grade at Bullard Elementary School in the Cobb County School System, GA. Her school web page is here.
Jason, our son-in-law and Sharon's husband, is employed by Coca Cola Enterprises. He loves antique cars and auto racing and is an avid ebay buyer and seller.
Sharon and Jason have two sons, Parker, 7 in July of 2009, and Dalton, 4 in May of 2009. Parker is a second grader at Bullard Elementary and Dalton is in the state funded pre-k program at a local church. Both of them love school. They are so sweet and a real joy to us. |
